5/25/18 Antique photo album find!

My most recent acquisition from a local auction is this photo album. U.S. Army Clarence A. McMullen’s trip around the world on U.S. Army Transport Heffron in 1920. And various others. Many USS and USAT ship photos. My favorite part is all the photographs have brief description, locations and dated backs. Old photographs are truly something special.

Been neglecting my blog but I will be updating more often now.

6/27/2015 Yard Sale Finds

I purchased some great vintage items this week at an estate sale and a moving sale. What I love about doing what I do is you never know what you will find or where you will find it. It keeps things interesting and it’s never boring.
A whole box of vintage CocaCola trucker hats.
A cute fly made out of spoons and forks etc.

05/16/2015 Yard Sale Finds

Hi all😀 I have some interesting things this week to share from my many yard sale adventures. First off a 1920s Salesman 7 Bottle Container. After that there is a cool window fan. Love that color and I don’t even mind that’s it’s got some scratches and wear. It looks even cooler to me that you can see it is an old fan not a reproduction. Last but not least a 1940s Western Electric Bakelite telephone, purchased for $20 at a yard sale and sold on eBay already for $70.

9/07/13 My own Yard Sale

Had my own yard sale this Saturday. When you are in the business of resale you tend to accumulate more than you can keep up with. There are also those items that don’t sell. A yard sale is a great way to get rid of these items that may not be eBay worthy for one reason or another. Had my best sale money wise. We have had one a year for the past 3 years each one has made more then the last. Started at 7:30am had a dealer show up at 7am and had a few more dealers show up just before 7:30am. We made just under $1,500, woohoo! It makes all the work leading up to the sale, getting up at 3am, hanging 20 signs and setting up well worth all the trouble. I couldn’t have done it without you ❤
