Dumpster Diving

Yeah okay I know some of you are going to think this is weird or gross or trashy. I don’t care really, think what you will. Some places throw away perfectly good working items to make room for new things. I hate waste and I also love free stuff. So check this out (not going to say from where). Controllers, Bluetooth headsets, car chargers, usb chargers, rechargeable batteries with chargers, bags, games, stereo headsets, cords, cases, toys and tons more! All thrown away in the trash.

7/20/2013 Yard Sale Picks

I  purchased this Pachislo Skill Stop Slot Machine with a Cat Theme at a yard sale in the morning for $50. Works good and is a lot of fun with music and lights and LED animation. It also has the manual, door key to get inside and about a hundred tokens. It has about 6 difference skill stop settings so you can start easy if you want and then switch it to hard mode. I’m going to have some fun with this before selling but it is for sale if anyone is interested in purchasing 🙂

Here are some antique meters in wood cases, very cool. I love this kind of industrial looking stuff. One is from a flea market the other from a yard sale.

This is a WWII U.S.Navy Signal Light which I won at auction this past weekend for $15. I am hoping to be able to make a lamp out of it.

I bought a bunch of 1980’s action figures. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Masters of the Universe, Thundercats, at a few difference sales. I love vintage action figures!

6/15/2013 Yard Sale Picks

It’s been slow going for sales the past 2 weeks but I got a box of newspapers dating early 1800’s for free. There is one with an article of Lincoln’s assassination but that one is particularly beat up unfortunately. These are all for sale if anyone is interested I can take better photographs. Nearly all of these are from early 1800’s and there’s about 50 papers.

Introducing myself and my page..

I am a lover of all things flea market, yard, estate and garage sales. And lets not forget auctions, thrift stores and free finds on the side of the road.

I have been going to these places with my dad since I could walk. This is a site dedicated to what I find each week.

I am a re-seller through eBay, Craigslist and auctions in my area.

I hope that people will contribute with their finds as well. I would like to share with others and exchange experiences and advice when it comes to value age or other information.
