5/25/18 Antique photo album find!

My most recent acquisition from a local auction is this photo album. U.S. Army Clarence A. McMullen’s trip around the world on U.S. Army Transport Heffron in 1920. And various others. Many USS and USAT ship photos. My favorite part is all the photographs have brief description, locations and dated backs. Old photographs are truly something special.

Been neglecting my blog but I will be updating more often now.

4/11/15 Estate Sale Finds

This was a top 5 scores weekend for me highlighted by 2 1976 Halloween masks. Was a beautiful million dollar estate and I was lucky enough to find these 2 masks in the attic. I paid I think $2 for the skull and $5 for the Creature from the Black Lagoon with the matching gloves. I had no idea what the were worth only that they were collectible being they were from the 1970s. But to find out they were worth near $1000 for both now that was a lifetime highlight for me!

X-Mas break Yard Sale Finds

I have been very busy the past 2 months and haven’t had any time for the updating of the blog. I was sick in November and then Thanksgiving was here and then decorating the house and hanging lights for Christmas. Then of course shopping for gifts and before I knew it Christmas was here. Now unfortunately the Holidays are over and it is time to get my butt in gear and get back to working hard. I didn’t get a chance to go to many sales while sick and busy in December. I would, however, like to share some of the things I was able to buy in November and December. I will now be back to updated every week with my Awesome yard sale finds so please check back often. Hope everyone had a wonderful 2014 🙂 Here’s to 2015 being even better!

8/3/2013 Yard Sale Picks

This past weekend was a pretty good one as far as sales go. I got a whole bunch of items in a wide range. For this post I will show the highlight which are four 2-Head 25 cent candy machines on solid wood stands. Purchased at a price of $70 for the four of them. A quick check showed them selling for $125 a piece on ebay. They are going to be too much of a pain to ship though so I will probably local auction/craigslist them.

7/20/2013 Yard Sale Picks

I  purchased this Pachislo Skill Stop Slot Machine with a Cat Theme at a yard sale in the morning for $50. Works good and is a lot of fun with music and lights and LED animation. It also has the manual, door key to get inside and about a hundred tokens. It has about 6 difference skill stop settings so you can start easy if you want and then switch it to hard mode. I’m going to have some fun with this before selling but it is for sale if anyone is interested in purchasing 🙂

This past Saturday morning on the 8th I found this nice group of 1970’s movie posters at a moving sale. I paid $25 for the group.

Fun fact: my favorite aunt ❤ was an extra in Jaws 2.
